With all the recent swarm activity there are some that aren’t caught and eventually they make their way into people’s houses and in this case during a site check, the honeybees moved into either the duct or the AC unit itself. Leslie called me on Monday 4/16 saying that an AC technician informed her that there are bees coming and going from an AC unit on the roof topĀ of a place she’s house sitting.

I went for a site check and found where they were entering but couldn’t determine how to get to them. These are large air ducts and they are coated, so I cannot even locate screws to remove a portion of the ducting. So for this job I’ll need to consult an AC professional to see how I can get to the bees inside the duct/unit.
