The Murre Hive is ready to be adopted. A swarm that was captured on July 24th in Sunnyvale has been doing well. We originally had it in a 8 frame wine case nuc but today transferred them into a full medium so that Susan, who adopted another hive earlier this year, can pick them up tomorrow morning.
The queen is laying really good. All worker brood. They have some honey and pollen. No capped honey yet but they were just hived on July 24, almost 2 weeks and they have drawn 5 frames. Most are super straight comb.
