Adopt A Bee Hive – ElsieC Colony Going to a Huge Home in Watsonville

Tonight the ElsieC colony was adopted. Susan and the ladies, Renee, Kendall, and Caroline drove all the way up from Watsonville to pick up the hive. The ElsieC colony was hived as a swarm and like its sister hives, Elsie and ElsieB, they are all thriving. This hive is 90% full, with only one frame undrawn and the colony has a ton of bees, brood, and capped honey.

Susan’s place is… 45 acres!!!!!! And this hive will only be their second. If I had that size land I would have over 100 hives. 🙂

Thanks Susan for adopting the hive!
