Bees In Sprinkler Control Valve Box – Tiny Swarm

Sunday after the two cutouts we head over to Palo Alto near Stanford for an easy bee relocation. A small swarm moved into a sprinkler control valve box just the day before. We flipped the cover and exposed the hive. They build one tiny comb section. We actually used the beevac on this one because we didn’t want to wait or come back since we had dinner plans. πŸ™‚

The queen was running like mad but we caught her. πŸ™‚

Thanks Mary for calling us to save our local honeybees. When you’re ready to become a beekeepers let us know.
