Stanford Bee Removal – “Caution Bee Hive @ the Window Frame”

Thursday afternoon I went for a site check at Stanford. The cottage in the back will eventually be remodeled but first we need to save the bees. Check out the sign a backyard neighbor put near the colony entrance.

And here’s a picture of where the bees are entering from, like the sign stated, at the corner of the window frame. 🙂

The bees are directly behind the chimney. Good thing is the inside is just sheetrock/plaster. Here’s a thermal image of the colony. They’ve filled the entire section already, hopefully they haven’t moved down into the firebox.
