Tiny Swarm Survives The Rain – Palo Alto

We were pretty busy the last few days and couldn’t get to a swarm in Palo Alto. The swarm clustered up tight in a tree and went through last week’s rain. Friday evening had a chance to see if they were still there as the homeowner was going out on vacation. Yup, here they are. They survived the few days of rain. Here’s the tiny swarm, not even enough to fill a frame but I have a swarm that went queenless so I’ll combine them soon.

We had to apply our gardening expertise to get to this swarm. 😉

Got them home and caught the queen at night.
